GEMDALE GROUP

Gemdale Group is one of China’s largest land development companies. Based in Shenzhen, Gemdale Group is engaged in land development projects across the Chinese mainland, with a focus on projects with a high quality standard.

Gemdale Group has entered into a cooperation agreement with LEEMIAN to develop Danish Cultural Centers and Danish Living Spaces, utilizing their vast network of projects to place Denmark in multiple cities in China.

Jiaxing

The Danish Lifestyle Center in Jiaxing will be the first that is fully designed and developed by LEEMIAN in cooperation with Gemdale Group. The center will feature six buildings, in which we will display, promote and sell services within the spheres of creative education, culture, environment and nature, sports and games, space and lifestyle. The center is expected to open in 2022.

Changsha

The Danish Lifestyle Center in Changsha is expected to open in 2022. Located in the heart of the provincial capital of Hunan, Changsha, the center will feature five buildings designed with a combination of traditional Chinese culture and new Nordic design as it’s pivotal look. The center will promote creative education, environmental protection, design, and more.

HUAWEI

As one of the largest mobile companies in the world, Huawei barely needs an introduction. Besides the mobile industry, Huawei is also engaged in constructing and running cultural centers across China. LEEMIAN is Huawei’s sole partner in the design, construction, and management of these centers. In terms of government cooperation and seeking financing for projects, Huawei is second to none in China.

Changzhou

The Danish Lifestyle Center in Changzhou will cover 125.000 square meters. LEEMIAN and Huawei are still negotiating the terms of land purchase with the Changzhou government, and hope construction can begin in the spring of 2021.

The lifestyle center will include an indoor playground, a school offering Danish education, a lifestyle gallery and shopping area, an incubator for Danish companies, a interactive environmental museum well as an outdoor themed experience park showcasing Danish history and culture.

Nantong

The Danish Lifestyle Center in Nantong will cover 100.000 square meters. LEEMIAN and Huawei are still negotiating the terms of land purchase with the Nantong government, and hope construction can begin in the spring of 2021.

FANS

FANS is a project management company engaged in the design, construction, and running of Danish Town Projects throughout China. FANS focuses mainly on large outdoor projects with a mix of traditional theme park content as well as various Danish content. The strength of FANS lies in the company’s strong ties with local governments and private investors across China.

Huainan

The Huainan project covers 94.000 square meters. Construction began in the fall of 2019 and is expected to be completed by 2021.

The Huainan Danish Fairytale Town will be a traditional theme park with rides, as well as a Hans Christian Andersen museum, a Danish school, shopping area, and restaurants.

Yangzhou

The Danish Center project in Yangzhou covers 40.000 square meters. Construction will begin in the summer of 2020, with an expected opening date in 2022.

The project will include an outdoor classic theme park combined with indoor experiences, an incubator for foreign companies, a Hans Christian Andersen museum, shopping area and restaurants.

Xingtai

The Xingtai project has been delayed by the Corona virus, but will cover 235.000 square meters. Construction will hopefully begin in 2020. Early stage design include a traditional theme park and a Hans Christian Andersen museum.
